Tollefson exploring free agency market

March, 21, 2012
Dave Tollefson will be visiting Seattle on Thursday and Friday, a source confirmed an earlier report by SiriusXM NFL radio's Adam Caplan.

The Giants have made an offer to Tollefson, who is looking for more of a commitment and is exploring his options on the market. The free agent defensive end has drawn interest from the Raiders, Packers and Buccaneers according to a source.

Tollefson is very popular amongst his teammates and the Giants value that and all that he adds to the team's depth. But Tollefson also has to see what else is out there since the Giants have Jason Pierre-Paul, Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora at defensive end with Mathias Kiwanuka also splitting time between linebacker and pass rusher as well.

We'll see if Tollefson lands a deal by the end of the week.
