Injury report: Boley and Rivers sit

July, 29, 2012
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Linebackers Michael Boley and Keith Rivers both sat out practice today with sore hamstrings.

Head coach Tom Coughlin said Boley may sit a few more practices.

"He’s got a little hamstring," Coughlin said. "Couple days I'm sure."

Coughlin said Rivers has the same deal.

Defensive end Justin Trattou was in a walking boot on his left foot this morning after spraining his ankle in practice the day before. He was scheduled to undergo an MRI.

Boley, Rivers, Trattou and RB Da'Rel Scott sat out practice along with PUP list player Hakeem Nicks, Chris Canty, Clint Sintim and Travis Beckum.

Cornerback Terrell Thomas iced down his surgically-repaired right knee for the last quarter of practice and Coughlin said this will probably be a regular routine for him to maintain his knee.
