Steppin to the A.M.

ALBANY, N.Y. -- The New York Giants have a scheduled day off, so there is no practice.

They'll be back on the field on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. We should be able to get more reaction to Terrell Thomas' knee injury. In the meantime, I will have analysis of what might be next for the Giants' secondary without Thomas.

I also will have a story on Prince Amukamara later today and a chat at 2 p.m.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Thomas re-injured his right ACL. A source says it is partially torn but more will be known pending an arthroscopic procedure to see the full damage. Thomas is heading west to consult with Dr. Arthur Ting, who performed his ACL surgery in California last year. Michael Boley also went to Manhattan to get his injured hamstring checked out. A source said Boley will be fine and that his hamstring injury is not serious.

There's no more drama surrounding Osi Umenyiora and his contract and, more importantly, he's feeling healthy.

The Prince had a good practice Monday with Thomas out. Here's the practice report from Monday.
