ALBANY, N.Y. -- More New York Giants weighed in Thursday on Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones’ statement that, "Y'all should come to that (Cowboys) stadium and watch us beat the Giants' ass.”
Jones made those comments to fans during a ceremony to signal the opening of Cowboys camp Monday.
Several Giants made appearances on The Michael Kay Show on ESPN New York 98.7, which recorded live from Giants camp Thursday. Many were asked about Jones’ comment, and here is what they had to say:
Safety Antrel Rolle: “The way I look at it, the last time I remember, I don’t remember Jerry Jones every putting on any pads, playing offense neither defense, so he has no say so on what’s going to take place in that game. He’s been speaking for those guys for numerous years now, you know -- they’re going to win the Super Bowl each and every year and they haven’t been there yet. Right now they have to take the crowns off our heads, that’s how we look at it.”
Wide receiver Domenik Hixon: (On if it provides motivation) “I think it does. Just like everybody doubting us this year and not being behind the Super Bowl champs -- that’s fine, we’ll play the underdog role and hopefully we’ll just fly under the radar the whole year and go back to it.”
Defensive end Justin Tuck: “He has a stadium to pay for. I’m sure he wants a lot of fans to come out and spend the big money in the stadium, so I don’t blame him for saying that at all. … If I was a billionaire and I owned the Cowboys and I didn’t have the success against the Giants that I think my team was supposed to have, I probably might say something like that, too.”
Quarterback Eli Manning: “It’s Jerry Jones and I kind of just let [Giants owner John Mara] comment on any Jerry Jones comments. I kind of let the owners go at it, so we’re working, we’re getting better at training camp. We don’t need any extra motivation when we play the Cowboys and we got them week one, first game of the season, divisional rival, so we’ll be fired up and ready to go.”

That's right Wisey, love the Spartan! RT @MikeWiseguy: used to hate Randolph as a knucklehead Blazer. Now I love him as an old-head Grizzly.
