Thomas advised to rehab knee with Giants

ALBANY, N.Y. -- The New York Giants got the best news possible when doctors advised CB Terrell Thomas to begin rehabbing his knee in an attempt to play again.

As of now, Thomas will avoid surgery and return to the team as soon as tomorrow. The news came after Thomas visited with Dr. James Andrews to get a third opinion on his surgically-repaired right ACL.
