ALBANY, N.Y. -- Terrell Thomas is expected to return to the Giants on Tuesday and meet with the media.

We should be able to find out more about how his right knee is feeling, what exactly happened to his right ACL, and perhaps see if there is a timetable for a potential return. Dr. James Andrews examined Thomas, and the consensus of the Giants' doctors, Dr. Arthur Ting (who operated on his torn ACL last year) and Dr. Andrews is that Thomas can begin rehabbing his knee in hopes of playing this season.

So keep it locked here for updates on Thomas later today.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Linebackers coach Jim Herrmann likes his linebackers unit, and the versatility and depth he has. He also talks about several of his young linebackers.

Prince Amukamara has a hamstring issue that kept him out of practice. Here's the practice report from yesterday.

Dan DePalma has made several catches in camp thus far, but he's also willing to play some defense to make the team.

And Tom Coughlin says it's time for the real Ramses Barden to step up.
