And the fifth-round pick is...

April, 24, 2010
The Giants broke away from defense and took their first offensive player by selecting an offensive lineman in Arkansas G Mitch Petrus with the 147th overall pick in the fifth-round.

The 6-3, 310-pound Petrus is a two-year starter who also spent time at tight end as well as fullback. He did not play in 2008 due to academic suspension.

He has been described as a "raw talent." Here is Scouts Inc's breakdown of Petrus. He also benched the most reps (45 on 225 bench test) for a guard at the combine.
