EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks went through warmups without any hitches and will play, as expected, against the Dallas Cowboys.

Nicks was listed as questionable as he makes his way back from surgery to repair his fifth metatarsal back in late May. He looked fine in warmups, cutting, stopping and running routes and catching passes from Eli Manning.

Left tackle Will Beatty (back) is also active but Sean Locklear will start as expected. Beatty is available as the extra offensive lineman.

There is one mildly surprising starting lineup change. Linebacker Keith Rivers will start at outside linebacker for Michael Boley (hamstring). Boley is active and will rotate in. Rivers started during the preseason while Boley was injured.

Cornerback Jayron Hosley (toe), linebacker Mathias Kiwanuka (groin) and defensive end Adrian Tracy (hamstring) are all active and will play.

Wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan, cornerback Prince Amukamara (ankle), running back Da'Rel Scott (knee), guard Mitch Petrus, defensive end Adewale Ojomo, offensive tackle James Brewer (back) and defensive tackle Marvin Austin (back) are inactive for the game.

Amukamara and Austin are hoping to play in Week 2 against Tampa Bay.
