ATLANTA -- With Prince Amukamara out, the Giants added cornerback Terrence Frederick off their practice squad.

The Giants felt the need to add some depth in the secondary with Amukamara nursing a hamstring injury. To make room for Frederick, the Giants waived offensive lineman Selvish Capers.

Rookie Jayron Hosley is set to start for Amukamara at corner opposite Corey Webster.

The 5-11 Frederick was signed to the Giants' practice squad on Sept. 7 after Pittsburgh waived him. The Steelers drafted him in the seventh round out of Texas A&M.
