Perhaps the only negative to the Giants’ rout on Sunday was the fact that they suffered a few injuries.

Tackle David Diehl injured his hip. X-rays were negative but Diehl was not seen in the locker room after the game. Center Adam Koets also sprained his knee and said he didn’t feel like he was in too much pain afterward.

Tom Coughlin didn’t know much after the game but said, “I am hoping against hope that they will be OK.”

Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks tweaked his ankle and did not play in the fourth quarter but said he could have come back into the game if needed.

“It’s the same one, won’t be no setbacks,” Nicks said of an ankle issue he has had earlier this season. “I don’t think there will be any setbacks.”
