Coe signed, Hall waved

The Giants announced on Saturday that the have signed cornerback Michael Coe from their practice squad. To make room on the roster, they waived defensive end Alex Hall.

The team may have added Coe as an insurance plan if Aaron Ross is unable to play on Sunday. Ross missed practice Friday due to what Tom Coughlin described as an "abdominal" illness. Ross was listed as probable.

Coe, the Colts' fifth-round pick in the 2005 draft, has nine tackles in 11 career games. Returner Will Blackmon also hinted on Friday that he could see time at cornerback.
