Smith falls, gets up

December, 10, 2010

Steve Smith fell today in practice going for a ball and landed on the injured pectoral, but said he felt fine after getting up. Coach Tom Coughlin said he would see how Smith felt on Saturday.

Smith and Hakeem Nicks are both preparing as though they will play on Sunday, even though Coughlin hasn't said definitively that the wide receivers will be on the field when the Giants play at Minnesota on Sunday.

As for the offensive line, David Diehl is expected to play while Shaun O'Hara, while much improved, is still listed as doubtful. Shawn Andrews hopes to practice with the Giants again starting next week, and Coughlin said he thought the former Eagle would play again before the end of the season.

RB Ahmad Bradshaw (wrist) practiced, as did DB/KR Will Blackmon (chest).
