Giants-Packers injury report

12/24/2010

Giants PR/KR Will Blackmon sat out of Thursday's practice with a knee injury. Tom Coughlin said Blackmon hurt his knee at the end of practice on Wednesday, adding that the injury "slowed him down a little bit."

Blackmon suffered a season-ending ACL injury last October. It is unclear if this latest injury is to the same knee.

Special teams coach Tom Quinn said Darius Reynaud and Aaron Ross will be available to fill in for Blackmon at punt returner on Sunday against the Packers. He also said CB Corey Webster would be available.

Also, T David Diehl returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday due to illness and WR Mario Manningham (heel) practiced in full after being limited Wednesday.

DE Osi Umenyiora (knee) was limited for the second straight practice on Thursday. He has practiced sparingly for most of the season to keep his knee injury from flaring up.
