Giants TE Kevin Boss says the surgery he underwent on his ankle was successful on Monday.

"Just waking from ankle surgery ... Doc said things went really well!" Boss said on his Twitter page. "Think Im gonna stop on way home and get a workout in!"

Boss had an arthroscopic procedure to clean out loose bodies in his ankle in hopes to keep him pain-free during the season.

The Giants starting tight end is expected to need four-to-six weeks to recover and should be ready to go by training camp in August.
