It appears the New York Giants will have their return specialist back for next season.

Domenik Hixon says he has reached an agreement for a new contract with the Giants.

The wide receiver/returner posted on what appears to be his Facebook page that he will sign a new contract on Thursday morning. Hixon's current contract is up.

“My agent and I have been negotiating with the Giants and it looks like we have came to terms!” Hixon posted on his Facebook page. “Going to sign the papers in the a.m. and make this thing official! Thank God and all the support from family, friends and fans!!! Thank You and GO G-MEN”

Hixon will be returning from a torn ACL injury he suffered last summer in the team’s first workout at the New Meadowlands Stadium. Without Hixon, the Giants struggled in their punt return game. Hixon is expected to be fully recovered for next season.

Terms of Hixon’s deal were not immediately known.
