Three New York Giants will participate in the NFL Players Association’s Rookie Debut, the union’s NFL Draft events that will celebrate past, present and future football players during draft weekend.
Shaun O’Hara, the Giants’ team representative for the union (which has decertified during the lockout), Ahmad Bradshaw and Zak DeOssie are scheduled to participate according to a press release from the NFLPA. They are three of 44 current, former and future NFL players that will be a part of the events. Some of those expected to participate include Auburn's Cam Newton, Jacksonville's Maurice Jones-Drew and St. Louis' Sam Bradford.
The Rookie Debut includes a welcome meeting and dinner on April 28, interviews with the media and a reception and dinner on April 29 and a “Let us Play” Fitness and Skills clinic in Harlem followed by a celebration party on April 30.
