Rosenhaus: Bradshaw interested in Miami

7/18/2011

Ahmad Bradshaw will be the Giants' priority once free agency begins.

The running back has said he wants to remain a Giant and it would be somewhat surprising if the team doesn't re-sign its top running back. However, like a good agent, Drew Rosenhaus is going to promote his client and try to drive up Bradshaw’s value.

In an interview on Miami's 7 Sports Xtra on Sunday night, the agent said Bradshaw is open to becoming a Miami Dolphin.

"I represent Ahmad," Rosenhaus said on the show per Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "He's training here in Miami and would be very interested in the Dolphins."

"If they [Dolphins] are interested in Ahmad, we're interested back."

Our man Kelly says Rosenhaus waved hello to the Dolphins, who watch the show. The Dolphins are in the market for a running back to pair with Daniel Thomas.

Bradshaw wondered earlier this offseason if the Giants could afford to keep him and Brandon Jacobs. If Bradshaw, who has four years of experience, is ruled an unrestricted free agent, the Giants will have to figure out a way to do just that.

Once the lockout is lifted, teams could be given a short window (72 hours) to negotiate with their own free agents before they hit the open market.
