The New York Giants continued their rookie draft pick signing spree when they inked fifth-round pick Mitch Petrus and seventh-round pick Matt Dodge on Wednesday.
Petrus, the versatile guard from Arkansas, and Dodge, the punter likely to take over for Jeff Feagles, are the fourth and fifth of the Giants' seven draft picks to sign with the team. Their signings come a day after the Giants came to terms with fourth-round pick linebacker Phillip Dillard and sixth-round pick linebacker Adrian Tracy.
With third-round safety Chad Jones already in the fold, the Giants have just two draft picks left to sign in first-round defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and second-round defensive tackle Linval Joseph.
On Monday, the Giants waived five players to make room on their 80-man roster for once they signed their rookie draft picks.
