ESPN NFL rankings are out

So ESPN has released its 2010 NFL power rankings for training camp. And the New York Giants come in at 16th.

My prediction for the Giants when the schedule came out was that they would finish with 10 wins and second in the NFC East to the Cowboys.

The power rankings have the Giants as the second highest-rated NFC East team behind the Cowboys but just one spot ahead of the Eagles. The Redskins are 20th.

But I don't agree with the Giants being rated as the eighth best team in the NFC. I definitely have the Saints, Vikings, Cowboys, Packers ahead of the Giants.

The Falcons likely will finish better than the Giants but I don't see them as a top-eight team in the NFL. And it is definitely debatable whether the 49ers and Cards are going to be better than the Giants. Perhaps the Niners but I'd have the Giants ahead of the Cardinals and Matt Leinart.

Here's the rankings and let us know what you guys think.

For Florida women's lacrosse, winning goal was waived off due to illegal stick depth with :09 left in OT. Then Syra scored in sudden death.
