Justin Tuck sits out practice Thursday

September, 8, 2011
Giants defensive end Justin Tuck sat out practice again on Thursday -- at least the portion that the media was allowed to watch.

Tuck has been bothered by a neck stinger, suffered in the team's third preseason game against the Jets on Aug. 29. He went through a limited practice on Wednesday, and did not practice on Monday. (The team was off on Tuesday.)

The Giants said on Wednesday that Tuck is expected to play in Sunday's season opener against the Washington Redskins.

The Giants are still on the practice field -- more later, after we speak with coach Tom Coughlin and the players.
