If you happen to own Hakeem Nicks in fantasy, congratulations.
You’re probably going to be awarded more points.
With 6:37 left in the first quarter on Monday, Nicks made a tremendous one-handed 23-yard catch on fourth down, which eventually led to his three-yard back-shoulder touchdown.
During the play, Nicks was impeded by St. Louis corner Bradley Fletcher, so referee Terry McAulay called pass interference. McAulay rightly signaled on the field that the Giants declined the penalty and accepted the catch yardage, but the official game summary had them accepting it.
Anyway, the correction means Nicks had four catches for 38 yards during the game and now has 2,002 career receiving yards.
Other changes: Eli Manning completed 19 of 30 for 223 yards. The Giants had 323 net yards, not 300 and 204 net passing yards instead of 181.
Oh right, and the Giants converted a fourth down.
