Justin Tuck is OUT for the game against the Cardinals as ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported earlier this morning. Tuck was not seen on the field warming up before the game. The concern clearly has to be the pain in his neck and the strained groin he suffered last week. Our guess is the neck is a bigger concern since Tuck has said he is worried that it could linger throughout the season.
Jason Pierre-Paul will start for Tuck. Osi Umenyiora is active and will make his season debut against the Cardinals. It remains to be seen how much work he will get. Long snapper Zak DeOssie is active and will play. He had a back issue that prevented him from practicing on Thursday and Friday.
Cornerback Prince Amukamara did not make the trip as he recovers from a broken foot. And wide receiver Brandon Stokley remained home with a quad injury.
Here is the rest of the inactive list for today's game for the Giants:
DE Justin Tuck
RB Da'Rel Scott
OG Mitch Petrus
OT James Brewer
CB Prince Amukamara
WR Brandon Stokley
