Several Giants did not practice today, including G Chris Snee, DE Justin Tuck, RB Brandon Jacobs, LS Zak DeOssie and FB Henry Hynoski.

The Giants also released QB Ryan Perrilloux off the practice squad and re-signed OL Selvish Capers to the practice squad.

Here's your injury report and what we observed during the early portion of practice:

DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN PRACTICE

DE Justin Tuck -- Tuck was on the bike at the start of practice and then did some light running on the side but did not practice. He wants to see how his neck and groin feel as the week goes on. Might be best to sit out with the bye next week.

RB Brandon Jacobs -- Also started practice on the bike before doing some light jogging with Tuck. He did not practice, though. He is nursing a mild MCL sprain -- which Antrel Rolle said was very swollen last week -- and is scheduled to talk to reporters on Thursday. Perhaps he will have a response to what Antonio Pierce said about him and Tuck on Monday.

LS Zak DeOssie -- Feeling better according to head coach Tom Coughlin but still out with a concussion.

G Chris Snee -- Coughlin says Snee is feeling better as well but still remains out with a concussion.

FB Henry Hynoski -- Did not practice due to a neck/burner injury suffered against the Seahawks. A burner injury kept Baas and Tuck out of last Sunday's game.

DE Osi Umenyiora -- He was on the field during the early portion of practice but didn't do a whole lot and was listed as not practicing. This could be a scheduled off day for him as he manages his knee.

CB Prince Amukamara -- Reporters got to see Prince do some special teams punt coverage drills. It was the first time we have seen Prince do anything other than some light backpedaling and cornerback-type drills on his own on the side. Prince says he feels good and is still on target to return sometime after the bye week as Coughlin reiterated on Wednesday.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION IN PRACTICE

C David Baas -- Baas went through a limited practice and says he is feeling better.

LB Michael Boley -- The linebacker has a knee issue dating back to two games ago but he played last Sunday. He went through a limited practice and should be OK for this Sunday.
