Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw and linebacker Michael Boley are “progressing,” but coach Tom Coughlin doesn’t know if they’ll be able to return to practice on Friday.

“Those are things that are going to have to be determined,” Coughlin said. “I don’t have the answer for you on that one.”

Bradshaw said last week that he would “definitely” try to come back for the Giants’ road game against the New Orleans Saints on Monday night. But that appears in jeopardy. He missed the last three games with a broken bone in his foot, and Coughlin said Monday that he has not been cleared to practice by team doctors.

“We’ve waited for Ahmad and rightfully so,” Coughlin said Monday. “I don’t know that they’re going to give us the green light.”

Boley sat out of Sunday’s 17-10 loss to Philadelphia with a hamstring injury. He said Monday that he hasn’t tried to run with the injury and did not want to speculate about a potential return for the New Orleans game.

Left tackle William Beatty, who aggravated a back injury against the Eagles, had tests Monday, but Coughlin said nothing came of them and he hopes to have Beatty back this week.

“He has the extra day [of rest], so hopefully that will help,” Coughlin said.

Coughlin said right guard Chris Snee was battling a case of food poisoning, but is feeling better.
