Giants sign Ugoh; Andrews to IR

The Giants signed offensive tackle Tony Ugoh and placed Stacy Andrews on injured reserve.

The 6-5, 304-pound Ugoh played with the Colts from 2007-2009. He most recently played with for Las Vegas Locomotives of the UFL.

The Colts released Ugoh in September 2010. He signed with the Lions last December and re-signed with them after the lockout. But Detroit cut him on Aug. 15.

Andrews was hospitalized with blood clots in both lungs last Saturday. He had played in nine of the Giants' first 11 games.

Also, the Giants signed QB Ryan Perrilloux for the seventh time this season on Tuesday and terminated the contract of offensive lineman Selvish Capers. On Wednesday, they terminated Perrilloux and re-signed Capers.
