David Baas, Osi Umenyiora and Mark Herzlich were not present during the open portion of practice on Thursday.
All three absences were expected.
Baas is out due to a neck injury and severe headaches. He is undergoing tests to determine a more exact diagnosis. We should have more on him later today.
Umenyiora is out with an ankle injury and is not expected to play Sunday.
Herzlich is trying to bounce back from an ankle injury he suffered in the New Orleans game. He was seen in the locker room Wednesday with a boot on his foot.
As for players who were present on Thursday, safety Kenny Phillips (knee) worked on the bike and ran outside. He said on Wednesday that he has not been ruled out of the Dallas game. He is holding out hope that he can play.
LB Michael Boley (hamstring) and RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) also worked on the bike. Both players returned from their respective injuries last week against Green Bay and, barring a setback, are likely to play against Dallas.
RB Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) and DE Dave Tollefson (knee) were out there. They appeared to be doing light work.
WR Mario Manningham (knee) and CB Prince Amukamara (back) practiced during the early portion.
LB Spencer Paysinger (hamstring) worked on the sideline.
Baas, Boley, Bradshaw, Herzlich, Jacobs, Paysinger, Phillips, Tollefson and Umenyiora did not practice on Wednesday.
