DALLAS -- Ahmad Bradshaw’s first reaction was to walk past the waiting media that wanted a comment regarding his first-half benching.

When Bradshaw, sporting a pair of shades, did stop to talk, he had little to say about the suspension.

“It was for a team rule violation,’’ Bradshaw said.

When asked point-blank if the violation was a broken curfew, as had been reported on NBC Sports during the game, Bradshaw repeated his original statement.

Bradshaw was limited to 12 yards on eight carries and one catch for one yard, but several teammates praised his effort.

Wide receiver Victor Cruz credited Bradshaw for being a vocal leader in the huddle on the Giants' two late touchdown drives.

Bradshaw’s benching also seemed to light a spark under Brandon Jacobs, who turned increased playing time into his first 100-yard rushing game of the season and only the second by a Giant this season.

Jacobs rushed for 101 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns, including the game winner from a yard out with 46 seconds remaining.

“He really did [play physical football]’’ Giants coach Tom Coughlin said of Jacobs. “That is really two weeks in a row, he is pounding the ball up in there and doing a real good job of that. He has really given us what we need. He had that one drive where he pretty much carried the ball probably 40 or 50 yards.’’
