Ballard works again

By Matt Ehalt

The Giants had one surprise non participant in practice on Thursday in offensive lineman Tony Ugoh, but it appeared to be status quo for the rest of the injured Giants during the portion of practice open to the media.

Tight end Jake Ballard (knee): Ballard appeared to be doing some work in practice on Thursday. He was limited on Wednesday and has missed the past two games.

Linebacker Mark Herzlich (ankle): Herzlich was on the bike again and has not practiced this week. He has missed the past five games and might be in danger of missing his sixth straight.

Defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee): Umenyiora looked to be practicing on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. He practiced all of last week and played Sunday night against Dallas and recorded two sacks.

Running back Da'Rel Scott (knee): Scott looked to be practicing on Thursday. He was limited in practice Wednesday after hyperextending his knee in Sunday's game.

Running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot): Bradshaw was on the stationary bike as per his usual routine of missing Wednesday and Thursday and practicing Friday.
