Jacquian sheds boot and is set to practice
By Ohm Youngmisuk
INDIANAPOLIS –- While “The Gronkle” injury news dominated the headlines for the Patriots, the Giants remain relatively healthy.
Linebacker Jacquian Williams has shed the protective boot he had on his sprained foot and the rookie expects to participate in practice, perhaps on a limited basis on Wednesday.
“It’s better,” Williams said. “It is a day-to-day thing. But I will be there [on Sunday in Super Bowl XLVI].”
“It was a precaution thing,” he added off the boot coming off. “I’ll practice. Whether I will be limited or not, I don’t know.”
Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks said the AC joint in his shoulder is feeling “a lot better this week.”
“I’m just trying to go out there and play and have a good week of practice,” Nicks said. “There should be no setbacks. It’s not sore or anything. The rest helped out a lot with just my shoulder and just my body in general.”
