Injury report: They're piling up

By Ohm Youngmisuk

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The injuries just keep on coming for the Giants.

Stevie Brown
Stevie Brown was helped from the field after being injured on an interception return.
Starting safety Stevie Brown is the latest starter to go down and the full prognosis on his sprained knee might not be known until Sunday. Brown crumpled to the ground without being touched and immediately grabbed for his left knee in the first half of Saturday night's preseason loss to the Jets.

Brown tweeted later in the night, "I really appreciate all the thoughts and wishes, #StayingStrong and #Optimistic."

The secondary has been hit hard by injuries. Jayron Hosley went down with an ankle injury early and did not return. The Giants already were without cornerback Corey Webster (groin/knee) and safety Antrel Rolle (ankle).

And Prince Amukamara rolled his ankle but he returned to play and said he will be fine.

Tight end Adrien Robinson was also seen going into the X-ray room after the game with a possible hand injury.

The Giants played without wide receiver Victor Cruz (heel), offensive lineman David Diehl (thumb), wide receiver Ramses Barden (knee), wide receiver Louis Murphy (leg), center David Baas (knee), fullback Henry Hynoski (knee), defensive end Damontre Moore (shoulder), defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (back) and defensive tackle Markus Kuhn (knee).
