Wilson moons NYC after surgery


NEW YORK -- Giants running back David Wilson underwent neck surgery Thursday in New York, and he sounds happy with the result, judging by this tweet on Friday:

Thank God surgery went well Dr. Surprised when they came in And saw me standing and walkin to bathroom on my own haha #solider #blessed

It’s still impossible to predict when Wilson might be able to play again. The Giants are hopeful their No. 1 draft pick in 2012 will be ready to go by the fall. But general manager Jerry Reese has admitted he can’t count on Wilson being the team’s primary running back going into the 2014 season.
