Wednesday practice report: Tuck works

By Ian Begley

As expected, Justin Tuck returned to practice on Wednesday, joining a relatively healthy Giants team gearing up for Sunday's game against Miami.

Due to neck and groin injuries, Tuck has been forced to sit out four of the team's first six games.

Tuck told reporters on Tuesday that, barring any setbacks, he should play on Sunday.

Also practicing was running back Brandon Jacobs, who has missed the last two weeks due to a knee injury.

WR Ramses Barden (ankle) was out there as was cornerback and first-round draft pick Prince Amukamara.

Fullback Henry Hynoski (neck) was on the sideline for most of the portion of practice open to the media. If he worked, it was on a very limited basis.

Backup lineman Adam Koets (back) was not on the practice field.
