The Rangers have agreed to terms with free-agent forward Brandon Segal, the team announced Wednesday.
Segal, 28, had 18 goals and 18 assists in 61 games for the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs and Norfolk Admirals last season. He also appeared in 10 games for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The 6-2, 215-pound Segal has played in 102 career regular-season games over four seasons with Tampa Bay, Los Angeles and Dallas, amassing 11 goals, 11 assists and 83 penalty minutes.
