One of the benefits of having a small training camp, as the Rangers did in the lockout-shortened lead-up to the 2013 season? No tough decisions to make on cut-down day.

All teams must officially submit their Opening Day 23-man roster Friday by 5 p.m., and the only change the Rangers made from the first day of camp was to call up depth forward Brandon Segal.

The 29-year-old winger, who has nine goals, seven assists and 60 penalty minutes in 38 games for the AHL's Connecticut Whale, was recalled to replace tough guy Arron Asham in the lineup Saturday.

Asham must serve the remaining one game of the four-game suspension he incurred in the Penguins' first-round series against the Flyers last postseason.

Below are the projected lines and d-pairings for Saturday's game against the Bruins in Boston:

Hagelin-Richards-Nash
Gaborik-Stepan-Callahan
Kreider-Boyle-Pyatt
Rupp-Halpern-Segal

McDonagh-Girardi
Staal-Stralman
Del Zotto-Bickel
