Rangers eye third straight

Shipping up to Boston for the third meeting between the two clubs already this 2013 season, the Rangers look to collect their third straight win Tuesday against the Bruins at TD Garden.

If they can knock off the Bruins in Beantown, it would be the longest winning streak this season for the Rangers. At 6-5-0, New York currently ranks eighth in the East but has a chance to make up some ground in the standings Tuesday.

They'll do so with a healthier club than last week. Both captain Ryan Callahan and defenseman Dan Girardi are in the lineup against the 2011 Stanley Cup Champs.

It appears that struggling center Brian Boyle will be scratched for a third straight game while goaltender Henrik Lundqvist will make his 11th start this season.

Following the short trip to Boston, the Rangers open up a three-game homestand at Madison Square Garden this Thursday with a Valentine's Day re-match against the Islanders.
