Already without Rick Nash, who missed his second straight game Thursday night with an undisclosed injury, the Rangers may also be missing Michael Del Zotto, one of their top defensemen, when the team travels to Montreal for Saturday's match at Bell Centre.

The 22-year-old Del Zotto was forced from the game after taking a hard check from Senators defenseman Marc Methot in the third period of the team's 3-2 shootout loss in Ottawa Thursday night.

Del Zotto, who inked a two-year with the Rangers last month, did not return to the game. The Rangers will not practice Friday in advance of Saturday's re-match against the Habs, so his status remains unclear.

The young blue-liner has two goals, five assists and a plus-four rating in 16 games for the Rangers this season.
