Former Ranger Sean Avery may have retired from hockey, but he's still not shy about sharing his opinion.

The controversial winger blasted Rangers coach John Tortorella following the team's 3-0 shutout loss to the Canadiens in Montreal on Saturday night.

Avery blasted his former coach, with whom he had a tumultuous relationship, via his official Twitter account.

"Fire this CLOWN, his players hate him and wont play for his BS.....," Avery tweeted.

Avery, who retired last season, has questioned Tortorella before. After being waived by the team in training camp last preseason (he was eventually recalled) he made it clear he never felt he got a fair shot from Tortorella.

The Rangers have now been shut out in two consecutive games.
