Rangers finalize coaching staff

August, 14, 2013
The Rangers have made their complete coaching staff official, announcing via team release that former Ranger Dan Lacroix will join Alain Vigneault's staff.

Lacroix, who spent the last three seasons as an assistant for Tampa Bay, joins assistant coach Ulf Samuelsson and associate coach Scott Arniel on Vigneault's staff. Both Samuelsson and Arniel's hiring were reported earlier this summer.

The last piece of unfinished business for the Rangers now is to sign restricted free agent Derek Stepan before training camp begins. Stepan remains the only unsigned restricted free agent. The 23-year-old center is not arbitration-eligible.
