Rangers sign J.T. Miller

The Rangers have signed their first-rounjd draft pick J.T. Miller, the team announced Thursday. The Rangers selected Miller, 18, with the 15th pick in this year's draft.

Miller played for the U.S. National Under-18 Team last season and scored 11 goals and addded 26 assists and in his career with the team has 26 goals and 42 assists.

Miller played for Team USA in the 2011 IIHF U-18 World Junior Championship in Germany and led the team with 13 points and helped the USA capture the gold medal.

Miller also scored three goals and tallied eight assists in eight games at the Four Nations Cup in Sweden and the Five Nations Tournament in the Czech Republic. He had five points at the 2010 Four Nations Cup and six points in the 2011 Five Nations Tournament.
