The Rangers have officially announced they have agreed to terms with 25-year-old Swedish defenseman Anton Stralman, as ESPNNewYork.com reported Thursday,
The one-year deal is worth $900,000.
After spending recent weeks back home in his native Sweden, Stralman arrived in New York Saturday afternoon; he is unlikely to play until next weekend. The Rangers host the Hurricanes on Friday and play the next night in Uniondale against the Islanders.
