Ilya Kovalchuk, who missed Saturday's game against Winnipeg with a lower-body injury, is not practicing with the Devils Monday.
The 28-year-old winger reportedly pulled a muscle while back-checking in the Devils 4-3 win over the Flyers on Thursday.
Eric Boulton (hand), who has not played since October 21, also is not skating with the team.
Defenseman Andy Greene, who has missed the past two games with a lower-body injury, returned to practice.
