Former Ranger Aaron Voros has signed a professional tryout agreement with the team's minor-league affiliate, the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League.
Voros split time last season with the Anaheim Ducks and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (he also played two games for the AHL's Syracuse Crunch).
The 30-year-old forward, who played for the Rangers from 2008-10, had 11 goals and 12 assists in two seasons for thee Rangers
