Janssen released from hospital

Cam Janssen, who left the Devils' 4-2 loss to Winnipeg with an undisclosed injury, has been released from the hospital and will fly home with the team.

Janssen, who appeared to suffer the injury after a first-period hit in the chest from Winnipeg's Arturs Kulda, was reportedly taken to Winnipeg's Health Science Centre because the absence of an x-ray machine at MTS Centre.

All tests were negative for major injury, according to a team spokesperson, although it is unclear what that means.
