...And the exodus from Long Island to Tampa Bay continues.

In dire need of some manpower after a slew of recent trades, the Lightning have claimed forward Tim Wallace off waivers from the Islanders.

The 27-year-old forward, who played 31 games for the Islanders this season, became one of the many players to head down south to Tampa from Uniondale in recent years.

Wallace's fellow Anchorage, AK native Nate Thompson was also claimed off waivers from Tampa back in 2010; Dwayne Roloson was traded there last January, Bruno Gervais during the draft this June. Sean Bergenheim, now a Florida Panther, and defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron are also ex-Islanders.
