Both goaltender Evgeni Nabokov and defenseman Travis Hamonic are expected to return to the lineup Friday against the Rangers.

Nabokov has not played since February 14 because of the flu; Hamonic missed the past nine games with a broken nose.

The Islanders returned both netminder Kevin Poulin and defenseman Aaron Ness to Bridgeport (AHL) Thursday.

Bridgeport forward Casey Cizikas was recalled; the 20-year-old center will make his NHL debut if Josh Bailey (back spasms) is unavailable to play.
