Devils try for fifth straight

March, 13, 2012
With a four-game winning streak heading into Tuesday's match against Philadelphia, New Jersey looks to complete a home-and-home sweep of the Flyers for their fifth straight victory.

A win over the Flyers Tuesday would allow the Devils to leap-frog Philly for fifth place in the Eastern Conference, third in the Atlantic Division.

New Jersey beat Philadelphia 4-1 in Newark Sunday thanks to another dominant performance from Ilya Kovalchuk. The 28-year-old sniper, who leads the Devils with 30 goals, has nine points (five goals, four assists) in the last four games.
