Rangers face Christensen, Wild

Looking to get back on track with seven games left before the playoffs, the Rangers face a Western Conference opponent, the Minnesota Wild, including former teammate Erik Christensen.

Routinely scratched by coach John Tortorella, the skilled-yet-inconsistent 28-year-old center was traded to Minnesota in early February in exchange for Wild prospect Casey Wellman and a conditional seventh-round pick.

Christensen was held of the scoresheet for his first 15 games with the Wild -- he was also a minus-13 -- but has since recorded four goals. According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune's Michael Russo, Christensen is finally settling in after years of being his own toughest critic.
