Lou confident in getting deals with RFAs

By Mike Mazzeo

If you're a Devil and you're a restricted free agent, chances are you're going to stay.

That's what GM Lou Lamoriello said when asked about Matt Taormina, Jeff Frazee, Maxim Noreau, Nathan Perkovich and Steven Zalewski.

Lamoriello said that "unless there's something that's unforeseen that comes up that I'm not aware of," all of those players will be back in the fold by the end of Friday. All of those players were extended qualifying offers, so they'll either accept that or a "negotiated contract."

Zach Parise and Mark Fraser are also restricted, but they have arbitration hearings scheduled for Aug. 3 and 4.

Note: Defenseman Matt Corrente joined Zharkov in inking his qualifying offer Thursday, according to the Bergen Record.
