Devils-Flyers Game 5 notes

The Devils reacted to
’s Game 5 suspension for his Game 4 hit on
“You don’t like to see anyone get suspended. I know Claude Giroux. He’s a great player and he’s not a dirty player,” coach

will return to the lineup for Game 5. That means

• When leading a best-of-seven series 3-1, the Devils are 6-3 in Game 5s; 9-0 in series.
• When trailing in a best-of-seven series 3-1, the Flyers are 8-7 in Game 5s; 1-14 in series.
Philadelphia came back to eliminate Boston in the 2010 quarters en route to an appearance in the finals.
