Josefson, Tallinder expected back this series
By Katie Strang
Injured forwardJacob Josefson and defenseman Henrik Tallinder practiced with the team Friday and Coach Pete DeBoer expects both players to be available to be able to play against the Rangers in the Eastern Conference finals.
"My gut [feeling] is I think they'll be available at some point in the series," DeBoer said Friday. " It was their first practice today with the regular team. They've been practicing with our American League team, but it's a great step
Josefson has not played since suffering a fractured left wrist on April 3 --his second serious injury this season. He also was sidelined for almost three months at the beginning of the season with a broken clavicle.
The former first-round draft pick (2009, 20th overall), who has two goals and seven assists in 41 games, skated on a line with fellow spare forwards Cam Janssen and Eric Boulton.
Defenseman Henrik Tallinder also practiced; the veteran blue-liner has been sidelined since mid-January with a blood clot in his lower left leg.
